How to get from the Airport to the Hotel

Guests may use the local taxi service, or the car rental facilities at the airport, to get to the hotel. Government regulations permit a shuttle service by the hotel only for groups of eight or more people.
Car rental services are available for holders of valid international driving licences. Pick-up service can be arranged through the hotel with a local ground handler at a nominal charge.

Distance from the Airport and Transfer Times

Grand Hyatt Muscat is 18 kilometres from the airport. Taxis are available and charge approximately OMR 8.000 (approx. USD 20.00) from the airport to the hotel. The drive takes between 15 and 20 minutes.

Driving Directions from the Airport to the Hotel
  • At the airport exit, turn left (direction Muscat) to roundabout
  • At the roundabout, take Sultan Qaboos Street to the Al Khuwair roundabout (approximately 15 kilometres)
  • At the roundabout, turn left under the flyover
  • After 500 metres there is another roundabout. Continue straight across towards Shatti Al Qurm, and follow the hotel signs
